Group Treasury & Risk Management

Group Treasury is globally responsible for funding and managing liquidity & cash, financial risk and working capital throughout the Carlsberg Group. We are a team of 10 highly specialized professionals and we work together with all parts of the Group to actively manage financial risk and to increase the free cash flow. Carlsberg Group have a focus on cash generation in order to reduce leverage.

The position

Carlsberg Group has a focus on cash generation in order to reduce leverage and the new Treasury Director will be responsible to lead, develop and drive working capital and cash. You will also be participating in various projects such as intercompany funding, hedging, and optimization of Treasury processes, IT and implementation of internal capital structures.

 Your future tasks will be:

  • Set targets for working capital and cash generation to be approved by CFO and ExCom
  • Develop and implement improved processes for working capital and cash generatio
  • Plan and lead quarterly cash calls with Regions and Markets
  • Together with Middle Office analyze and report on the development
  • Suggest actions to fill any gaps and Follow up with Regions and Markets
  • Introduce Programs and campaigns where needed
  • Follow up, report and present to Global Finance Team and ExCom

This position reports to the VP of Treasury and Risk Management and you will actively work together with personnel from Group Treasury and Group Finance as well as Carlsberg’s different regions and local countries. 

The right candidate

  • Master´s degree in Finance
  • Finance and/or accounting as your core compentencies
  • 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Solid foundation within Working Capital management
  • Fluent in English both oral and written
  • Solid analytical skills and logical thinking – practical solutions to complex tasks
  • Strong execution skills – prioritize and get the tasks done
  • Project management skills – ability to drive the process
  • Proactive and personal drive – ambitious and impetus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – a networker and team player
