Group Insurance and Risk Specialist

We offer you an interesting position where you will assist in managing global master programmes and independently manage number of regional and local insurance programmes. You will engage in everything from analysis and presentation of risks to completing insurance tender processes directly or in co-operation with insurance brokers. You will assist in claims handling and follow up on claims statistics and the performance of insurance programmes to ensure that loss prevention and risk management initiatives are in place to mitigate future risks and optimize total cost of risks. You will interact with Carlsberg companies worldwide ensuring implementation of the insurance strategy including execution and administration of such strategy on a daily basis.

You will report to Head of Group Risk Management and be part of the Group Risk Management team, a team of risk professionals, responsible for risk transfer by insurance including a captive insurance company, enterprise risk management as well as security & crisis management. The team is part of the Group Treasury & Risk Management function at Carlsberg headquarter. You will co-operate cross functionally with finance, human resource, supply chain and other functions, group companies as well as insurance companies and brokers.

  • You have minimum 3 year experience with insurance and/or property loss control either handling insurance for an international company, working for an insurance company, loss adjuster or an insurance broker.
  • You have an insurance education as insurance professional, insurance broker or other relevant education supplemented with experience working with insurance and international insurance programmes.
  • You have project management skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English.

Furthermore, a strong communication and networking skills across borders is needed to perform successfully. We also expect to see pro-activeness and a passion for risk management and continuous improvement. Not letting go before the task is completed. Lastly, having a political understanding – ability to work in and position herself/himself in a Global organization with several interfaces and decision makers – is pivotal to succeed in this role.
